Cornwallis Academy Students Raise Funds for Children in Need
Students and staff at Cornwallis Academy pulled out all the stops to raise funds for Children in Need.
The donations began pouring in on Thursday, November 12th, when Sixth Form students wore fancy dress to school. The collection of outfits included lifeguards, Princess Elsa, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, an air freshener and many more.
There was also a bake off held in the afternoon which was featured on BBC South East during its Children in Need round-up on Friday night.
On Friday, the whole school got involved in the fundraising efforts. There was a bake sale, caricature drawings and a live lounge session.
