Interim Arrangements at NLL
After completing an open recruitment process for the role of Headteacher at New Line Learning Academy, we have made the decision to maintain our current interim arrangements. This team includes Jane Hadlow and Paul Murphy, who will continue to lead New Line Learning Academy on behalf of Future Schools Trust, for the remainder of the academic year.
Mrs Hadlow said: “As an Interim Headteacher, the support of the Trust and governors is crucial to securing the sustainable growth and improvement of the academy, and I am pleased that my work over the last few months has been recognised. I am committed to the young people, staff and community of New Line Learning and to seeing the school grow.”
Mr Murphy, Interim Deputy Headteacher, has a wealth of experience in education, including previous roles as Vice Principal and Assistant Headteacher. In addition to teaching, Mr Murphy is also a Lead Ofsted Inspector and a Secondary School Improvement Advisor.
He said: “Since joining New Line Learning Academy in January, I am pleased to have seen a shift in the students’ attitude towards learning. They are better prepared for lessons and value their education, which is reflected in their overall behaviour and standards. I am determined to ensure we improve on the progress we have already achieved and continue to encourage our students to meet our high standards.”
Joshua Coleman, CEO of FST, said: “We have a great team in place in New Line Learning Academy, who have set a high standard for their permanent replacements. The rigour of the selection process was such that it became clear that the growth and changes that we have already implemented are strong and have delivered steady improvements.
“I thank both Jane and Paul for their drive and determination to help the young people in our school to achieve better outcomes.”
