NLL Academy holds its specialism in business, enterprise and vocational studies and this places a great emphasis on preparing students for the future, whether in further education, or the work place.
In order to do this, the Academy engages with a range of employers throughout the community to make sure our students get first-hand experience and to ensure NLL staff are kept up to speed with industry advancements. In addition, all Year 10 students go on a work placement.
Futhermore, the Academy is also a Confucius Classroom, which means it is a Centre of Excellence for the teaching of Chinese. Mandarin is the most important business language to learn in the 21st century, therefore, from Year 7, students are taught the language and have the opportunity to visit China from Year 8.
The @TigerPrimary Xmas Fayre is set to be one of the best yet! Get into the festive spirit this Sunday! http://t.co/ZmhUrOYYB7
