Cornwallis Academy offers a different form of education that aims to provide academic success for everyone with preparation for life in a fast changing world.

Our examination results have shown year on year improvement for the past decade and 2011's were the best yet. At GSCE level a superb 93% of students gained 5 good A*-C grades and 57% achieved 5 A*-C grades, including English and Maths, making us the best performing non-selective school in Maidstone.

We are targeting 100% pass rate and have developed with both Microsoft and Yale University some unique approaches to pupil tracking that provide interventions to ensure all students will be successful.

The Sixth Form is large (350 students) and growing and its success rate has been consistent with a 99% pass rate and 67% of students achieving the top A*-C grades..

In September 2011 our brand new state-of-the- art facilities opened to students. The build cost £38 million and has been designed to enhance and improve education very directly by incorporating the latest thinking in modern education.
