New student reward scheme launched at NLL Academy

A new student reward scheme has been launched at New Line Learning Academy in Loose designed to incentivise young people to work hard at school and raise standards.

The online rewards system is tailored to the Academy's particular needs and allows teaching staff to allocate points to students who display good self management in a range of categories such as:

• Being respectful
• Completing assignments
• Extra curricular activities
• Good attendance
• Making good choices
• Student social responsibility
• Working in the community

Points are then accumulated by each student and can be traded in for a range of prizes and experiences allocated by the Academy. These include days out, vouchers and work experience.

Deputy Principal, Sharon Parish, says: "The Vivo system is very easy for teachers to use and means they can reward students during or after lessons. We hope the initiative will motivate our students to perform to their very best."

Any businesses or individuals wishing to support the scheme should get in touch with Communications Manager, Moira Mitchell, at moira.mitchell@newlinelearning.com or on 07894 423075.
