Learn Mandarin at NLL's Chinese Saturday School

Now even more people can learn to speak Mandarin at the UK’s newest Confucius Classroom at New Line Learning Academy in Maidstone, as classes are extended to everyone aged four and over.

Led by staff recognised as delivering excellence in Chinese teaching by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT), learning this new language is fun and engaging.

Children (aged 4-11 years old) and adults (11+) have the opportunity to learn a new language and discover more about Chinese culture. All classes are beginner level and open to everyone.

Mandarin for children will include:

An introduction to China
Useful everyday phrases
Learning numbers
How to introduce yourself
Zodiac animals
Chinese songs

Mandarin for adults will cover:

Useful everyday phrases, including greetings and how to introduce yourself
Interactions and menus in a Chinese restaurant
Asking for directions and giving directions
Asking questions

Classes will take place at the following times each week:

4-11 years old	From 10.00am	£3
Adult (11+)	10.00am – 12.00pm	£8 / £5 for secondary school students
