Hundreds expected to attend Cornwallis Reunion

Plans for a Cornwallis Reunion on Friday 17 June 2011 are well underway and already hundreds of people have signed up to attend.

The event, at Hubbards Lane in Linton, is to take place from 6pm and will see former students and staff joining in the celebrations.

On the evening, tours of the current school building will take place before it closes ahead of the move into the new building in September 2011. The tours will operate every half an hour from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. There will also be live entertainment on the night, a barbeque, ice cream and a bar.

The search is now on for school memorabilia such as photos, trophies, books, uniform, certificates and newspaper articles about Cornwallis dating from 1959 when the school first opened. Anyone with items such as those mentioned can email cornwallisreunion@newlinelearning.com as should anyone wishing to attend the reunion.
