One of the County Town's most exciting and popular bands is to play at the Cornwallis Reunion on Friday 17 June 2011.
Former Cornwallis student James Holland is the bassist of Kaleidophone and was delighted when asked to perform at the event with his three band members.
James said: ""We are really looking forward to being back at Cornwallis. I went there as a student and Mark our drummer also taught there for a while. We are currently promoting our debut album What's Your Tonic? so it will be great to meet some old friends and play to a new crowd."
It is thought around 400 people will attend the reunion at Hubbards Lane in Linton. The fun kicks off at 6pm, with tours of the current school building taking place every half an hour from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. There will also be a barbeque, ice cream and a bar plus a variety of school memorabilia on display dating from 1959 to the present day.
The hunt is now on for old school items such as photos, trophies, books, uniform, certificates and newspaper articles about Cornwallis. Anyone with items such as those mentioned can email cornwallisreunion@newlinelearning.com as should anyone wishing to attend the reunion. Please note that all items loaned for the event will be returned safely to their owners afterwards.
