Teachers and students to reunite

Around 400 people are expected to come together at the Cornwallis Reunion, scheduled to take place this Friday 17 June 2011 at Cornwallis Academy, Hubbards Lane in Linton.

Doors open at 6pm and guests will be travelling from all over Kent to make the occasion.

Communications Manager, Moira Mitchell, said: "We've received lots of emails and Facebook messages from former staff and students who are planning to attend so it should be a really wonderful event. It's been great fun looking through some of the old school memorabilia too, which will be showcased on the night."

During the celebrations, guests will enjoy tours of the current Academy building, refreshments such as a barbeque, ice cream and bar, plus there will be a live performance from Maidstone band Kaleidophone. In addition, a local photographer will be taking photographs of guests, which will be available to purchase on the night.
