Future Schools Trust (FST) is delighted to announce that as of September, Isabelle Linney-Drouet will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Future Schools Trust.
Isabelle joined the Trust in September 2015 and was appointed Headteacher of Cornwallis Academy in April 2016; since then, the school has improved significantly and is now the school of first choice for many children in the local community. Isabelle will continue her position of Headteacher at Cornwallis Academy; however, Mrs McMahon, newly appointed Head of School, will oversee the operation and running of the school on a day to day basis.
Marilyn Hodges, Chair of Trust, said “I am sure that you will welcome this news and join me in congratulating Isabelle on this achievement. I am pleased she will be able to continue to work with you all to ensure the Trust gets even better.”
Isabelle Linney-Drouet said “Firstly, I would like to thank all students, staff and parents at Cornwallis Academy with whom I have worked closely for the last four years. I am delighted to take on the role of CEO and am excited about what lies ahead for the future of the Trust. FST has a genuine desire to create a community of excellence which permeates everything we do. We are passionate in our belief that schools are stronger when they work together whilst being proud and protective of the unique identity of each of our schools in the Trust (Cornwallis Academy, New Line Learning Academy, Tiger Primary School, Tiger Cubs). As the Trust moves forward and goes from strength to strength, I look forward to working with all staff, parents, students and children within our Trust community.”
